Nordic Walking and The Vancouver Sun Run
In partnership with The Vancouver Sun Run, SportMedBC was the first to initiate Nordic walking clinics leading up to taking part in a 10K event. In fact, The Vancouver Sun Run is proud to be the first Canadian road race to include Nordic Walking. The Sun Run InTraining Program launched the first Sun Run InTraining Nordic Walking clinics in 2007.
Sun Run InTraining for 2011 starts the week of January 15th and continues for 13 weeks leading up to the Vancouver Sun Run on April 17th. The number of SportMed Nordic Walking clinics leading up to the Sun Run has expanded for 2011.
