SportMed Soccer Makes Its Debut as Part of Premiership Football on TEAM 1040
VANCOUVER (Tuesday, August 12th, 2008) - A new program of soccer training tips developed in a partnership between the British Columbia Soccer Association and SportMedBC will make its debut Saturday, August 16th in conjunction with Premiership Football on TEAM 1040 powered by BC Soccer and Whitecaps FC.

BC Practitioners Play Strong Support Role in Beijing
VANCOUVER (Wednesday, August 6th, 2008) - Approximately 40 per cent of the Canadian Olympic Committee's medical team for the Games of the 29th Olympiad are residents or practitioners based in British Columbia, SportMedBC announced today.
With the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games slated to officially begin Friday, August 8th, SportMedBC confirmed that 19 of the 50 members of Canada's
Olympic Medical Team are British Columbians.

MultiSport Centre of Excellence Begins Construction in Heart of Burnaby
Scheduled for completion in the summer of 2009, the MultiSport Centre of Excellence will provide training, diagnostic and rehabilitation services and leading edge sport medicine and sport science expertise. With top-of-class diagnostic and rehab technologies and equipment, a strength and conditioning centre, a customized gymnasium with sport-specific training areas, a world-standard soccer field turf and a 120-bed athletes village, the MultiSport Centre aims to be relevant to athletes of all ages and abilities.

VANCOUVER (SPORTMEDBC May 20th, 2008) - Vancouver's Jennifer Gibson, Manager of SportMed Nutrition programs for SportMedBC, recently completed the International Olympic Committee's Graduate Diploma in Sports Nutrition.
The IOC Graduate Diploma program, which included many of the top nutritionists in the world in its first-ever graduating class, is made available to leading practitioners from all five continents and is recognized as the most comprehensive of its kind.
