Sport-Specific Option

A sport-specific course can be requested by any organization wishing to offer Sports First Aid training to its members. The sport specific approach not only makes the course more interesting, it ensures the participant has a good understanding of the risks associated with his/her sport and can implement specific injury prevention strategies. Sport-specific courses are available for lacrosse and have been developed for fitness leaders. The fitness-specific course meets the BC Recreation and Park Association's (BCRPA) First-Aid requirement for provincial registration and entitles the participant to three credits towards BC Recreation & Parks Association (BCRPA) registration.

Course registration fee: Varies depending on the size and nature of the group.
